The Ranger Defined

Praise be to Melandru, Goddess of the Earth. Rangers devote themselves to her, and through her, learn many useful and ingenious skills. As you may note from the list to the right, the type of skills and spells available to the Ranger are plentiful- all born from a careful study of the earth and the living flora and fauna to grace it's surface.

As a studied Ranger, you can expect your preferred weapon to be suitable for a hunter. A simple bow and arrow in your hands can be made even more lethal through your knowledge of assorted plant oils, roots, and venoms. Whereas others walk the earth in ignorance of what is underfoot, you know how to alter the earth on which they walk. Use this knowledge to your advantage.

At distance, a Ranger is a great ally to grab the attention of selected foes. The Ranger also makes a great candidate to call targets in guild battle. Outside the Monk, the Ranger makes the secondary target to take out. Defending a Ranger can often be key because the Ranger brings many attributes to the field to infuse allies with greater power.
